TOBIAS, my new hero

I dismissed Trinika. He's lousy, no good stats and ugly...
But of course, he stayed with me for quite some time, and I still felt the loss.
He was with me when I started living my life at Evony, he accompanied me as I put up the foundations of my castle, he helped me mold a timeless dream of bliss.
But, in order for the castle to prosper more, I have to let him go...to look for a better one...to look for someone who can do the job better.
It was not an easy decision to make, for I have loved him despite....
I grieved, but not for long.

As I nonchalantly stroll on the castle gardens, hoping to have the chirping of the birds, the color of wild flowers and the mild flow of the cool stream wipe out my melancholy, I just marveled upon the beauty of them all. I walked over to the big rock to sit and think things over, but was oblivious of the danger that lurked behind. A big brown bear suddenly appeared, with its ferocious teeth bared and stomache growling for hunger. I screamed...for I don't want to be a beast's meal, don't want my pretty self dilapidated and torn apart. I shouted for help...until I heard a horse's neigh and a gallant voice from behind me. When I turned around, he suddenly charged to stab the bear's belly with his shining sword. And the next thing I knew, the bear lay motionless and bloody on the ground. I faced my savior and asked his name. "Tobias," was the answer. I invited him to dinner at the castle and found what great intelligence he has, his political skills were so-so, and his attacking power was nice, but his loyalty was wonderful. Who would be a better man than Tobias to be my right hand in ruling the country? He is smart....and good-looking too.

And now, I appointed him mayor of the land, along with his advisers, the twins Griffith and Michell.
May there be prosperity and peace throughout the kingdom.

What Truly Happened to Lady Arabella

The royal king and queen was well worried that I might have gone beyond ruling the kingdom that I almost forgot about my own welfare. All that I had in mind was this: To go beyond the limit of duty is not a moral obligation...but a moral option. It was my option to do so, but I fully understood what they also meant. And so, I decided to go on vacation and retreat from all my duties for the meantime. I appointed the loving knight, Hoorn, to take charge while I am away and maintain the peace and prosperity of the land. Perplexed as I was, even being distant from my armies, knights and ladies, I couldn't truly abandon them for good. They still need me.

On the first day of my seclusion to the nearby island, where I am supposed to reflect and give time for myself, I was confident that I can go on and leave them be. I heard them wail and whine for my loss...but I was stubborn enough not to listen.

On the second day...I missed them terribly. I was thinking on what have I done or what have they done to deserve this?

On the third day, I was resolved to go back. I just have to do things right now. I will protect them if need be, I will find allies to help them, I will serve them with great honor. Let it be known to the enemies that we'll become a stronger alliance from now on.

The Wrath of Lady Arabella

Thy highness is not tolerant to such blasphemy and disrespect!
Let this decree be heard to every corners of the land...
Anyone who speaks against thy royal throne shall be beheaded immediately!
Any words and acts of insurgency is punishable to great torture and death!
The townspeople has the options on how well to inflict pain upon the criminal.
The Lady Arabella desires peace throughout the land.
Any strangers who are too proud to begin a fight amongst the innocent residents shall be cast and thrown to the lions' den.
Any thieves who are caught sneaking at the royal treasuries shall be imprisoned without food and water for a month.
Any other minor crimes committed shall be subjected to the royal court with the townspeople as audience and the noble knights the jurors.
If, either by chance or thine freewill, any jurors would commit treason, there is no forgiveness on such act. He or she will experience the most inhumane punishment known to all.
No one shall challenge Lady Arabella's wrath...

The Reign of Lady Arabella

Then the time came to organize an alliance... And your humble servant was appointed leader. I was not confident enough to be able to handle such prestigious seat, but because i have a bunch of supportive and courageous members, who wooed me lovingly, i finally agreed. I should say they are persuasive enough, hehehe. '' You don't need to be the strongest to rule, you just need to be the leader that you are,'' Hoorn pleaded with bended knees. ''Yeah, we will support you all the way till the end, even if all strands of your shiny black hair will turn blonde,'' iris28 said with tearful eyes. With those words, how can i refuse? The loving knight genuflected in front of me, the bullying nerd cried... My heart was touched with pity. These people need my expertise. I shall not put them down. And so, they rejoiced and hailed their new master. There was merrymaking, funmaking and lovemaking all throughout the land.

And so the reign of Lady Arabella began. Buwahahahaha.

The Acquaintances of Lady Arabella

Thus, the quest of Lady Arabella began. On her journey, she was acquainted to a bunch of noble lords and mistresses, who ruled their towns with great prestige and honor. There was rongyuen, the mighty freak, iris28, the bullying nerd, Hoorn, the loving knight, Allestya, the lovely fairy and Scyons, the brave warrioress. Lady Arabella was awed by their sheer sense of friendliness and hospitability who welcomed her with open hearts into their banquet. And after a few exchange of words and laughter, she felt a sliver of unknown emotion came trickling to her sensitive heart. She felt home. And as the day went to an end, when she had to retire to her quarters and the comfort of her bed, she was uneasy and sleep wouldn't visit her. All she thought about was the fun she had with such kind-hearted noblemen.

''On the morrow, as the sun rises from the east, i shall pay a visit to their kingdom one more time,'' the only comfort she can give to her apprehensive heart...and soon enough, she rested.

The cock crowed, the birds chirped, a ray of sunshine peeped from the curtains toward Lady Arabella's bedstead. She woke up with excitement and full of vigor... For she knew she's going to spend this day with her new acquaintances. And long before the sun sets, she learned a lot from her newfound friends. She learned about the art of war, scouting techniques, attacking strategies, building defenses, swordfighting, killing without mercy and bloodshed. Alright, the last three..well, they all came from Lady Arabella, *grin. Nevertheless, they enlightened her on how to survive the fierce world of evony. And from then on, she decided to live strong.

Starting Evony: The Coming of Lady Arabella

Rongyuen sent me a private message, well, twas more like an enticing advertisement to lure someone into playing another browser game in which i don't know from which corner of the Web he picked that one up... hahaha, just the businessman that he is. Anyways, i just thought, another crappy game in which i'd indulge myself into. But, what the heck, i'd lose nothing if i'd try, so why not take a peep of what he's blabbing about. But unlike what Rongyuen did, i did not click that hot blonde princess who was like seducing potential addict players to enter her kingdom and be lords and reign till you want. No, no... i was like this skeptical gal who had foreseen that this will be another crappy game with nothing much to do but build, attack, be attacked and restore. And with respect to Rongyuen's pleadings, i signed up.

Behold, i was brought forth to the outskirts of evony and up towards where my foresight could fathom, i see barren land. A servant whispered, "Milady, the land before thou sweet eyes is thy kingdom. Reign forever." Hahaha. Okay2x, no real servant would actually whisper that to you. It was just probably the voice in my head who was apalled by the mere sight of evony. The land was empty, quests need to be accomplished, friends to be invited, and resources to be gathered. And I thought, hmmm.....more work to do, better get going fast, i might have a chance to outdo Rongyuen and plunder him. Buwahahahaha! But, it was like a mini-challenge that i kept to myself, which of course, i did not have the chance to do so since i was devastated to find out that someone else took the first offensive step against him... grrrr, if Rongyuen did not befriend her, I would have attacked her already. Hehehe. And so, i busied myself fulfilling quests, expanding cottages, improving my town and protecting it. I reflected back, oooohh, this is not crappy, after all.

Thus, the commencement of another addictive gaming episode which i think would get me hooked up for sure.
